HYDAWAY’s Favorite Airports in United States

Our founder Niki Singlaub came up with the idea of the HYDAWAY Bottle while traveling through an airport. Here at HYDAWAY, we travel frequently, whether it’s for family vacations or for business ventures. So we created a list of the best airports in the United States. In this blog, you will see our top airports and why we think they are the best.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

Anya, our sales and marketing coordinator, loves the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Known for being the busiest passenger airport in the world, the Atlanta airport has a plethora of amenities for weary travelers bustling about. In 2016, it was awarded Best Airport Dining by Global Traveler Magazine. Her favorite part? The white wooden rocking chairs and its southern charm and hospitality. This airport is the best also for international direct flights as it is one the biggest airports on the east coast.

Sacramento International Airport

Our marketing team member Sarah loves the Sacramento International Airport for the high ceilings and efficient security checkpoints. The Sacramento airport also offers a variety of farm-to-fork eateries that the area is famous for. With state-of-the-art automated people movers, the Sacramento airport has become an efficient travel hub in comparison to Bay Area favorites.

“My favorite part about the Sacramento Airport is the big rabbit sculpture in Terminal B,” Sarah said. “When you come out past the security check-point to leave the airport, you see the rabbit sculpture and it’s like a little welcome from Sacramento.”

Denver International Airport

Chris, the HYDAWAY marketing manager, prefers the unique design and the open-air feeling of the main terminal of the Denver International Airport. With wide-open windows and a gorgeous view of the Rocky Mountains, the Denver International Airport itself is a sight to see. This is easily one of the best airports in the midwest for international flights as well.

The Denver International Airport also offers a wide area to roam around. Two laps around Jeppesen Terminal is one mile, and the length of the B gates alone is 3,300 feet. This is a perfect way to get your steps in before a long flight.

Nashville International Airport

The Music City doesn’t disappoint, especially when it comes to their airport. The Nashville International Airport is one of the few airports in the United States that offers multiple performance areas dedicated to live music. The live music is what makes it one of the best airports in the United States.

“The Nashville Airport has a lot of cool music and instruments displayed,” HYDAWAY Founder Niki said. The airport houses a large variety of original artwork with many different mediums. In total, the collection boasts 239 unique pieces of art.

Portland International Airport

Our project manager Sam loves the Portland Airport. With quirky carpeting, various eateries, and an abundant amount of restaurants to choose from, it’s no wonder that Portland International won the award for best airport in America five years in a row.

“I love how they have local artwork around that pulls you into the city before you even walk through the front door,” Sam said. “Plus, it’s very easy to find a place to fill up my HYDAWAY.”

In conclusion, there are many good airports in the United States, but these are the best according to our team.

We want to learn more about the places you travel! If you’re planning on traveling in the New Year – share a photo of us with your HYDAWAY during your ventures around the globe. Tag us on Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag #MYHYDAWAY. Have safe and happy travels from all of us at HYDAWAY.
